How does an eye exam at 20/20 Onsite work?

Our Mobile Vision Clinic is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Once you step on board you will be welcomed by our Store Manager, and Doctor of Optometry.  Here you will:

• Undergo pre-testing (Auto-refraction to test visual acuity, evaluation of eye curvature and eye pressure test, and complimentary HD Retinal imaging)
• Browse our selection of 300+ frames which can be ordered on board

There is then a separate, private exam room where you will meet with our independent Optometrist. The exam room has the same equipment as you’d find at a traditional brick-and-mortar optometry office. The doctor will evaluate the health of your eyes and determine your prescription.

If you choose to opt out of dilation (totally up to you and your Optometrist), our complimentary high-definition (HD) retinal imaging will allow the Optometrist to conduct a thorough examination of your eye without the added time and hassle (blurred vision for hours) of dilation drops. We are all about efficiency, so we typically have patients in and out in about 30 minutes. But don't worry, you won't feel rushed by our Team, of course.
